Helping as a Theological Contributor The International Church Council Project invites qualified men to participate on a theological committee in their region
A. THEOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. All members must be able to enthusiastically sign these two theological statements and be in agreement with the Declaration of Biblical Truth:
The I.C.B.I. Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy
The 42 Articles of the Historic Christian Worldview
The Declaration of Biblical Truth
B. ECCLESIASTICAL REQUIREMENTS
All members must stand as an officially, approved representative of their denomination, organization, local church, presbytery, or regional association. That is, all members must represent some larger, official, Christian group and not just be a free-floating individual who enjoys discussing theology.
C. PERSONAL HOLINESS REQUIREMENTS
All members must be committed to personally living in obedience to Christ’s commands in the Bible and be willing to mutually hold each other accountable, according to Matthew 18:15-17*, to live in obedience to the Bible in all areas of life. Though members are not required to sign the COR Manifesto, they are expected to humbly and lovingly confront each other as brothers if they see obvious sin in another members life. This process is described by Jesus in Matthew 18:15-17 and is outlined in the COR Manifesto.
Membership is limited to men only The ICCP is limiting membership to men only because we understand that God has appointed men as leaders in both home and Church. For this reason we are not giving membership to women and limit participation on theological committees to men.
Once your membership is approved:
We will send you a confirmation email or letter by postal mail.
We will inform you of other men in your state or nation who are also members; we encourage you to contact them and work with them as a team as much as possible.
You and the other ICCP members in your state or nation are encouraged to send at least two delegates to the 2017 Global Church Council to represent your nation.
More about the theological committees and moving toward 2017.
Membership Application Committees may express their minor reservations on this page.
“And if your brother sins, go and reprove him in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. “But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. “And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax-gatherer.”)
